June 27, 2010: THE MONTE CRISTO CLAIMS YET ANOTHER VICTIM!!!

Description: The crew and I went to Cheddars today after church and I told Michael I'd pay for his food. He didn't know what to get, so I recommended the Monte Cristo, a battered ham and cheese sandwich. He had his reservations, and opted to stick to what he knew, but both my sister and I persisted that he try it. He agreed and this was a shot after his first bite. LOL The sandwich comes with raspberry preserves dipping sauce, and I told him to try it, which he did and then let out a resounding "OOOOOOH!!!!!!!" as if he had just seen the Lord. He finished the whole thing there, which is a magnanimous feat! And I'm pretty sure that's what he'll order from Cheddars for the rest of his life! Powdered sugar lips and everything! Creepy waiter Joe in the background!

Jared is a really cool guy. It's unfair, because nobody takes the time to know him. If they did, they'd realize that there's more beneath the surface. Beneath the punk rock look and the numerous death metal bands is a really caring guy that any girl would be lucky to have. He's freaking hilarious and I look forward to seeing him at work, because he provides great comic relief! He's got a skewed view of the world, just like everyone else, but if he didn't he wouldn't be Jared! LOL Plus, God is in his heart, so that's great! What is he doing in the pic? Basking in the awesomeness that is Rick Astley, I guess. Never gonna give!

Description: Today's picture is black. Too many things went on today. So many, that I am actually blogging today about yesterday. First off, shout out to MJ, who passed away a year ago today. First, I helped with Vacation Bible School's last day. Then I went with my dad up to Norfolk to move out of the suites, where on the interstate, there was an accident. His car has no freeon in it, so we were stopped for 15 minutes in the unholy heat. We finally got to the dorm, and it took about 2 1/2 hours to get everything in the car, then we went back, and I had to unload all my stuff. Then Sherwood hits me up at like 9 and says we should go to Danielle's house and hang. So we go, have a great time, and then end up back at my house around 3. CRAZY DAY.

Description: While in college, I became friends with a lot of people. This is Kiera Tunstall, a girl I met my Freshman year through another friend I made, Day'nell Gilliam. June 16, 2010: Life and death.

Time: 11:45 a.m.

Description: This bird was in front of the Woods Science Building yesterday, and I already think about life a lot. I passed it yesterday and kept going. But today, it was still there and I told someone in the building ( who was quite a *CUSSWORD* towards me). I thought about how many people say that death is a big part of life and how TRUE that is. Sometimes the only thing that will change a person is death. I live my life for a person that died for me. So I think about how people are sad when they lose someone in their life, and how they feel during the funeral. But I also think about how I would want people to celebrate my life. I wouldn't want people to sit there in black on their "woe is me" tip. I want fireworks. YES. FIREWORKS. I want a unicyclist juggling flaming bowling pins, and constant confetti being poured everywhere. I want people to get on the microphone and say what they loved about me, and to celebrate my promotion to Heaven. Sadness will probably be there, but I want equal happiness as well. And I understand that there is a level of reverence that needs to be upheld, but when Lazarus was raised from the dead, there wasn't a quiet person for miles, ya know? What would you want?

Plus, it's good to know about the world around you, so check it out (it's boring, but jam-packed with information you probably don't know!)!!!

Description: Yes. I watch Glee. Call it what you want, but this show is great. If you like good singing and an intense storyline, you should watch Glee. And if you miss it, you can watch it on Hulu, where you can pretty much watch anything online for free and with limited commercial interruption. Glee is cool, so smack yourself.
