Description: OW! YEOUWCH! EW! One of my coworkers, Jaleesa, showed me that she's like quadruple jointed! She can like disconnect all of her body and then pop it back into place! It's so weird! I can kinda arch my index finger a little bit, but that's nothing compared to what she could do. I have always wanted a weird talent like that. I guess I'll just have to stick to the one thing I know best: being a PYMP! lol

October 25, 2010: No Canon for me.

Description: I'm a Nikon man. Canon is a great camera company, and maybe more revered in the photography world, but Nikon has always grabbed my attention with their ingenuity and powerful equipment. I have my eye on a Nikon D3000 that we sell at work. It's a really nice camera, and I am saving up for it. This is my S570, the camera responsible for most of the pictures in my Photo365. I love it, and I plan to keep using it and products like it for a long time!

October 24, 2010: Far, far away.....

Description: My family went to a local art show about a year ago, and we bought this painting from an artist who's name escapes me. I love art! Anyways, I also love when the artist can paint a landscape and make me feel like I'm there. One day I'll see a view as real as this one.

October 23, 2010: Simply cereal.

Description: I'm a simple guy. And I like simple things. I like cereal. I love cereal. Cereal is awesome. In my family, me, my sister and my parents all have nights we make dinner. Saturday nights are "Every Man For Himself Dinner Night". I could waste my time putting together a 37- course meal, but why would I, when I can pour myself a a nice big bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios and as my dad says it, ice cold "MIRLK". Favorites include CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH (the freaking best!) Raisin Bran Crunch, Reese's Puffs, Life, Pops, Honey Bunches of Oats, Blueberry Morning, Waffle Crisp, Oatmeal Raisin Crisp, Fruity Pebbles, Cap'n Crunch, and a true classic, Rice Krispies Treats!

October 22, 2010: GRAMMY!

Description: Today, I asked my Mom how her mother was doing. This is my Grammy. She is my mom's mommy, and she is awesome. She always made sure that if any of her grandchildren stayed at her house, they cleaned up immaculately! This woman worked in her day as a true missionary. She used to take trips to Russia to preach the gospel. That could be the reason I want to travel so badly. Either that or because I've lived in Newport News my whole life. In any event she was an awesome person in her day and still is, in my book. I love her and I wish her a hundred more years of life!

Description: When my sister and I were younger, we used to play board games that we kept in our coat closet. In fact, sometimes, we had Family Game Night! Those were the days. We played Sorry, Home Alone, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Bible Trivia, Uncle Wiggly, Candy Land, and Scattergories. It was soooooo fun, laughing, playing and joking around our game table. But now, they just sit up in the coat closet, collecting dust, day after day. But a guy can reminisce, right?

Description: This is a frame from the music video for the song "Her Morning Elegance" by Oren Lavie. This video was made using stop -motion animation. That means that about 3,000 pictures were taken to make the video. I love music videos that are creative, and someday, i plan to make a few for music artist I support, both local and famous. October 17, 2010: Mommy, Micah Hon!!!

Description: This is an old picture of my brother Marcus and my nephew AJ when they were younger. I believe Marcus was 5 and AJ was 3. This is one of many pictures on the stairway wall in my house. My fam was walking around the mall and a photographer from the Baby Photo Store offered to give us free photos that they could use as samples, just because they were so cute. I thought that was pretty cool. I love the little guys, and even when they get on my nerves, they still know I'll always be there for them.

Description: I am really enjoying my job, and I thank God for helping me get this far. I doubt I'll ever get cocky about my new job position, because I limit myself by being smart enough to realize that there's always someone doing it better. I 'm not cocky about what I do, but I can say that I did my thing today! So well, that they gave me this pin, and a free Cafe combo for it. Description: I've worked hard this week. Very hard. I felt as if I deserved to treat myself. I rolled with my brother, Sherwood, to T.G.I.Fridays. I got this Cheesy Bacon Burger. It was delicious as it looks! But that wasn't the great part about my treat to myself. I git to talk with Sherwood, and we shared what's going on in our lives lately. We both have a lot going on, and it was great to just catch up, as brothers. I look forward to more hanging out like this in the future. Much love, bro!

Description: So basically, I was told by a number of coworkers that I looked like a manager because of my outfit. I had this shirt, with some fresh khakis, and some Sperry-type brown shoes on the toesies. I figured, if I'm going to look the part, I might as well dress the part. I'm completely revamping my wardrobe. It'll be a slow but gradual transition from jeans to slacks, from tee-shirts to polos and button-ups, and from Nikes to Nunn Bush. Yeah, complete image switcheroo! And I can't front, part of this transition is thanks to my parents who always said i looked better dressed up. Description: This is a Telxon. It is a scanner of all things Sam's Club. It can be your best friend and your worst enemy. It helps when I'm encouraging members to upgrade their memberships, but also ensures that I will be helping people check out their groceries, even when I don't want to sometimes. It's a gift and a curse kind of thing. I blogged about it today because in some cases, it reminds me that I should focus even more on the good and bad of anything nowadays.

Description: You know I keep it GOURMET! You are looking at Micah Temple's BananaColada! Yes it's all one word! I made this delicious drink with Arizona Pineapple Coconut Fruit Smoothie Mix, one whole fresh banana, and a half-pitcher of ice. After a thorough blending in my Ninja Blender, I poured it into coffee mugs. It's very rich, so it doesn't need to be poured in large quantities. It's deliciousful!

October 9, 2010: Back in the day, when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore , but some days, I sit and wish I was a kid again.

Description: The other day, I sat and looked at some old pictures of my family. I came across this one, and it got me to thinking about my grandfather. He's still in the hospital, but last time I visited him, I shot video, talked to him, and my Grandma, and spent precious time with him. You ever wish that you could go back in time, before the real drama in your family unfolded? Not saying that has anything to do with him. I just looked at this picture and remember not having a care in the world in terms of who's mad at who, who isn't gonna do what and things of that sort. When I look at his face, it all comes back to me. I guess that's what I'm going through, now. Too much going through my head. God, I'm undone. Nothing but prayer can repair me. I'm usually a cheery person, if you know me, but the way things in my life are unfolding, I can do nothing but cry. Keep me in your prayers. You may see a smile on my face, but a little part of me is dying inside.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeey!" Holy Dougie. Ha!

October 6, 2010: 10+!

Description: Work was long, but not tiring, and I had just got home. I had nothing to do, and I was just gonna crash for the night. But my nephew AJ wanted me to play an archery game on the Wii with him. I was reluctant at first, but then decided it couldn't hurt, and grabbed a remote and a nunchuck. I can honestly say, playing Wii Sports Resort with my nephew was the most fun I had this day. Isn't it amazing how God knows just the right thing to bring you joy in an otherwise normal day? He's a real competitor and we also got some uncle-nephew bonding time in. Forty minutes well spent.

October 3, 2010: DON'T BE DECEIVED!

Description: I'm a Beulah Baby. if you don't know what that is, you never will. Let's just say that I was here from the beginning. There are others like myself. Anyways, my pastor, Pastor Das has been really bringing the word lately, and I praise God for giving it to him as a confirmation of the things that I ponder. And the word was POWERFUL!!! It was about how to be a true witness about the things the Lord has done! It was also about how to avoid being deceived or living deceived.

How to know you're deceived.

1. False sense of security.
2. You don't feel like talking to anyone else (Proverbs 24:6).
3. When what you believe contradicts the word of God.

How to avoid deception.
1. Get to know God for yourself.

2. Surround yourself with people you know are walking in the faith.

3. Pursue God and ask Him to give you truth by confirmation. The Bible says that out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, a thing is established.

Description: I am good friends with a lot of my coworkers. But I can honestly say, one of my best friends at my job is this girl right here. Sharina Senatus is a constant reminder that I'm saved, because even in the workplace, all I ever see her do is read her Bible and do her job. I love her because she's not afraid to show that she loves Jesus. We always talk about life, plans, school and humor each other on the daily. We're always joking with each other. It's so hilarious. We also have a look that we give each other that is the equivalent of "SMH". Shout out to THE HAITIAN SENSATION, SHARINA!!!
