I AM FREE

Holding the rope for you, that's what I do

My love for you is true .. But can I count on you?

You want to know what's inside , can you handle the truth?

The secrets I've held inside of me , can you be my diary? You want to see the inner me shine through.

How can I? I'm tainted.

Heart is heavy, so much to bare .. In this world and all of the cares .. Who can I run to?

Never forgetting where I come from , I hold my head high. I tuck my shoulders back ..

That first step I take, it leads to my future...

No turning back now , when I was down I lost sight.. Now I have risen , and I'm ready for the fight ..

I can't contain it ; My strength, I carry my own cross ... My vision , I see it .. It is no longer lost .. My heart, its no longer tainted . I have the power , I can endure .. This I know for sure. . .

I am free , no chains holding me . Here I am, standing tall, I look as if I was never flawed. Through it all .. I am still ME , This is not an ACT , this is who I am.

November 29, 2010: HAVE YOUR DESSERT AND EAT IT TOO!

Description: THIS IS THE BEST GUM EVER. EVUH EVUH EVUH? EVER. I love gum. I think whoever came up with the idea should get like 1 million more dollars, even though they're probably dead and filthy stinkin' rich. But, in retrospect, I think the person who came up with these Extra Dessert Delights flavors should get a billion dollars! Idk, today was a loopy day, which explains my being silly. Anyways, gum is awesome.

November 28, 2010: SUCC355?

Time: 3:20 p.m.

1. Description: What's funny is that the guy in the car was on his phone while driving and also bumping loud rap music . I dunno, what do you think about these dudes with their big Jesus pieces and gold grills (he had both). Is it one of those things where if you got it, flaunt it? Or is that just furthering the stereotypes set against our race and culture? I know if I had money to buy bling and grills, I'd spend it on clothes, but only to look professional. What do you think?

November 27, 2010: HEALFY!

Description: This snack is HEALFY, son! And quite delicious as well. Gala apples be bangin! Deer Park is ok, I really like Fiji, but for now, I'll stick to the labeled tap water haha! This is all part of my "Lose some micky ficky weight, son!" project. "Micky" and "Ficky" are copywrited by Ms. Alison Gould and are hereby redacted and obtained.

November 26, 2010: After African-American Friday.

Time: 10:00 p.m.
Description: I opted to stay home after working today. Today was Black Friday, and the keyword was multi-task. Members need this, a cashier needs that. What's the price of this? Can you go get me another that? But all in all, it was nothing compared to the peace I found when I decided to come to church to pray with my dad. I expressed my heart to the Lord, and I really feel like he heard me. It was so peaceful, and it really blessed my heart. Thank you, Lord. All today's worries faded away in your presence, and my heart rejoices in your love. I need to write a song. LOL

November 25: Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I'm thankful for my family and close friends and how God has kept them thus far. I'm thankful for my sister finding a place to live. I'm thankful for food, clothes and shelter. I'm thankful for God helping me to graduate and my promotions at my job. But most importantly, I'm thankful that the Lord showed me that even though I'm blessed, it's not always about me. Humility is a powerful thing. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

November 24: 2010: Wally World

Description: I thought about how hectic Black Friday will be. Then, being at Wal-Mart, I realized how hard they will be hit. Dang. I have nothing to complain about. I guess the reason I never complain is because someone always has it worse.
